Will Predhomme  |  Managing Director

            Will began Predhomme Strategic Marketing in 2012, identifying a need for effective & engaging communication between wine & the trade in Canada. 
           Will's experience spans a career involved in the hospitality, government, education, wine production, & communications aspects of the wine & spirits industry. Work experience includes the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO), Fairmont Hotels, & Harrah's Casinos, though Will is best known as a top sommelier based in Toronto, most notably for the development of the world-class wine programs at Oliver & Bonacini Restaurants (Canoe Restaurant & Bar).
            Along with managing PSM., Will co-produces wine in Oregon & South Africa under the Pearce Predhomme label, is an instructor at the University of Guelph, & has been broadcast nationally as a producer & host of The Globe & Mail Wine Basics Video Series. 

OPERATIONS

Amanda Johnson  |  Operations Manager

             Amanda Johnson is a CAPS certified sommelier and WSET Diploma graduate.  Amanda’s love of wine started early growing up on a vineyard in northern Victoria, Australia and spending her formative years honing her viticultural skills.  She then completed a Bachelor of Commerce at Melbourne University and a subsequent foray into a Masters of Viticulture at Monash University.  
            With her move to Canada in 2006 came a switch to the sommelier side working her way through George Brown College and the CAPS program.  Amanda has recently worked as a sommelier at Blue Blood Restaurant in Casa Loma for the last two years whilst also assisting in the coordination of both educational and social wine events.  In her own words “Wine is one of my true pleasures in life.  Everything about it intrigues me and I want to share this interest and appreciation with all around me”.

Mike Howe  |  Marketing, Communications & Business Development

        Mike joined Predhomme Strategic Marketing in 2020, bringing with him 10+ years’ experience working in high-end events management, marketing, and communications, as well as consulting within the American beverage industry. 
        Mike first became interested in food and wine while working at restaurants in Montreal, where he was also studying to become at teacher at McGill University. From there, he grew an insatiable appetite to learn more about the food and beverage industry to enrich his personal life as well as build relationships and deliver results in his marketing-focused career. 
        Today, he continues to use his experience teaching to inspire his approach to communications, marketing and business development at PSM, saying, “I’m always listening and always learning. It’s the best way to drive change that truly benefits our customers and the company.”
